Workforce Education Aid: Each ABE consortium was eligible to apply for workplace education mini-grants throughout FY 2007. Each consortium had a specific amount of federal ABE aid set aside for Workforce Education, i.e., programs that work with specific employers. A second round of funding was made avialable beginning in January, 2007. All funding is tied directly to classes offered in businesses.
This is the third year of a 3-year statewide initiative in this area.
